Individual or Small Group Math Lessons

Based on instructor availability, we offer one-hour weekly or biweekly lessons. We do not provide off-site individual lessons. We tutor at our Austin location in the Westlake area.
Tutoring lessons are based on an individualized math plan for your child. To develop this math plan, we give a one-hour, interactive, low stress, Singapore Math assessment that identifies the student’s attitude/learning style, problem solving level, processing skills, foundational gaps in concepts and skills, and proficiency in seeing patterns and applying effective strategies.
The assessment includes both diagnostic activities (that the students like!) as well as oral and written assessments. This assessment is not “graded”. It is shared with both the student and parent so we have a common goal of filling in the gaps and incrementally building success and confidence. Students have about 15-20 minutes of required math homework a day to reinforce the weekly lesson. Homework is necessary for the student to attain mastery.
